Our Resistance!

Today, we had our first meeting of our Resistance team. It was attended by 13 group members from across the Granite State. Our discussion was lively, informative, engaged and important. We began by coalescing on one very sobering and poignant point; We unanimously agreed that the US has crossed the line into Autocracy.

Our meeting this morning was on Identifying Immediate Threats and Planning Resistance Response. This will be an ongoing series of discussion sessions which will meet weekly (alternating Saturdays and Sundays), and will be restricted to those that are on the Resistance Team. However, the objectives and tactics identified by the team will be shared with the membership of NH Forward, and will be executed as actionable initiatives designed to reclaim and return political power to the people.

Our First Three Initiatives ~

From today's session we defined 3 objectives where we will apply significant, state-wide pressure campaigns, and we intend to push back hard!

1. Fighting to Restore and Preserve New Hampshire Schools & Education:

Kowtowing to Dear Leader, Ayotte and the destructive republicans in the State House couldn't gut our NH schools fast enough! For a comprehensive look at what has been down in just the past few months, I'll direct you to NH NEA (National Educators Association): Press Releases, Alerts, OpEds – NEA-NH. This reference page provides details on several of the most harmful pieces of legislation. We will be identifying the derelict committees and committee members and will strike back with targeted campaigns to shine a very bright spotlight on just who is stealing education opportunities from hard-working NH families!

2. Fighting to Protect and Advance Voting Rights

New Hampshire now has the dubious distinction of being the state with the most restrictive voting practices! uhm, we're #1, wahoo??

Open Democracy estimates that only 16% of 18 year-olds are registered to vote. They have begun an initiative to change that, and I think WE can help. I will be reaching out to OD, to ask them to provide their training session for us, and then we'll mobilize with them to get those young'uns voting! And, just as we are doing with education, we'll be identifying committees and committee members for targeted exposure campaigns.

3. Fighting for Community Health & Wellness

Marching in step with the vaccine vampire, RFK, the lunatic trump has tapped to head the department of HHS, our NH nutjobs got right on board to do everything in their power to make it as hard, and as expensive as possible for working people and families to have access to life saving vaccines. Vaccines which not only help to keep individuals safe and healthy, but also protects us and our communities from crippling and even deadly illness.

We are going to take this fight to the streets as we stand up for not only New Hampshire families, but for science, truth, facts, health and access to care! We have all the facts; They have fairytales! We will win this one, and will, once and for all, take the high ground on science and facts!
